The SAPFA (South African power Flying Association) committee always get together for a weekend to plan the year ahead. This year it was from 20 to 22 January on Ron's farm, Paddafontein, near Thabazimbi. Chris & I flew up in ZS-MOR in the morning and had to duck and dive rain clouds & lightening in the Free State and North West. We had a great weekend with all being discussed & planned for the year. A new game which Ron, Dicky and Dale demonstrated was dung spitting, mmm. We flew back on Sunday morning and had even worse visibility to contend with. I have never seen so much rain in the Free State before. This all cleared up near Cradock and then it was plain sailing all the way to PE.
